Summary

NRL’s engineering client based in Renfrew is looking for a Ops Manager/Group Leader to lead the Asset Management function within the Renfrew site.

About the role:

To ensure that project and department requirements are fully communicated to operations staff as directed by MTeQ leader.

Ensure operating practices within Renfrew Site Operational Areas are performed in accordance with designated safe systems of work including adherence to appropriate controls and procedures.

- Line management of Machining and Technician Supervisors and all Senior Technicians
- Lead the workflow and resources of the Renfrew Operations function of Asset Management.
- Lead the continued improvement of working practices within the Renfrew Operations site environments.
- Lead the continued improvement of QHSE practices within the Renfrew Operations Site environments.
- Lead the safe implementation of CapEx upgrades and modifications to Operational areas
- Ensure continual adherence to safe systems of work and to prevent any work being
- carried out within Renfrew Operations Site environments which is deemed not in-line with the standards expected.
- Effectively handle all first line disciplinary, grievance and performance management issues.

What you will need?

- Apprenticeship with recognised qualification such as SVQ, ONC or City and Guilds in
- Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Preferred Qualifications
- Apprenticeship with an HNC Diploma in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
