Payroll Administrator
Location: HU1
Salary: Up to £25,000 DOE
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00 | Friday: 08:00 – 13:00

We are currently seeking a methodical and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to thrive in a busy finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time
Handling pension contributions and submissions
Managing all aspects of new starters and leavers, including documentation and system updates
Ensuring compliance with PAYE and HMRC regulations
Maintaining accurate records and responding to employee payroll queries
Supporting the wider finance team as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar payroll role
Strong knowledge of PAYE processes and current payroll legislation
Experience using Xero or similar payroll/accounting software (advantageous)
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines
Methodical approach to tasks and strong problem-solving skills
