We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our Coventry team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician seeking long-term career development within a reputable main dealer environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining HGVs to the highest standards, ensuring reliability, safety, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
• Perform routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs to manufacturer standards
• Carry out diagnostics and fault finding using industry-standard tools
• Ensure all work is completed within agreed timeframes and to quality standards
• Follow warranty procedures and maintain accurate repair records
• Collaborate with the parts team to ensure correct and timely parts supply
Requirements for an HGV Technician
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic in a workshop or dealership (preferred)
• Level 3 technical qualification in HGV maintenance and repair
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Full UK Class 1 or 2 HGV licence (desirable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
