Summary

Finance Officer

Industry: Construction

Location: Newport

Hours: 40 hours per week

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: Temp to Perm

Duties:

Assist Financial Controller with monthly, quarterly and year end financial reporting and budget preparation,
Update weekly costings of labour and plant,
Monthly stock counts,
Purchase ledger support including three way matching,
Liaise with operational managers, contract managers and site agents to ensure correct information is obtained and collated.

Experience:

Must have previous experience in working with a fast paced, busy accounting department.
Must have or be studying towards a minimum of AAT level accounting qualifications,
Must have a good level of computer literacy on MS Office including Excel, knowledge of SAP and advantage,
Must have excellent organisational and communication skills, with high level numeracy, accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines on own initiative as well as part of a team.

Salary: £31-37,000 per annum dependent upon qualifications and experience
