Cheadle Hulme Primary Schoolare currently looking for a dedicated Class Teacher to join their team. We are looking for a highly effective Teacher to become part of our excellent, hardworking and creative team who can contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional teaching and learning experiences. Our Curriculum and the way in which we deliver it, instils a passion for learning in all our pupils and equips them for successful lives beyond our gates. Our Curriculum is intended to teach children the essential knowledge they need in all subject areas and to equip them for successful lives beyond our walls, opening doors to the future of their choice –whatever that may be!Our ambition is for all pupils to develop a full appreciation of the world in which they are growing up and to feel a sense of awe and wonder about the vastness of human creativity and achievement. We recognise that academic achievement alone is not enough and provide a progressive Enrichment Curriculum as well as an ambitious Academic Curriculum. Both are underpinned by our school mission to -Preparing our children for the world they know and a world yet to be discovered.
What the school offers its staff
Cheadle Hulme Primary School first opened in September 2018 and has been going from strength to strength ever since!
We are part of the Laurus Trust, a family of schools with a vision “for everyone, regardless of background or circumstance, to be inspired, to thrive in all environments, to recognise what it takes to succeed, to set aspirational goals and to work hard to achieve them.”
Cheadle Hulme Primary School is a hugely oversubscribed, non-selective, non-denominational, two form entry primary school with two classes in each year as well as a pre-school. We are co-located with our sister secondary, Laurus Cheadle Hulme High School.
In our very first Ofsted inspection in January 2023, Cheadle Hulme Primary School was judged Outstanding for the Personal Development of pupils and Early Years and Good overall.
‘The curriculum gives pupils the knowledge, skills and understanding to be confident learners in a wide range of subjects. Pupils achieve well.’ - Ofsted, 2023
At Cheadle Hulme Primary School we strongly believe that it is our responsibility to, "prepare our children for a world we know and a world yet to be discovered" and we do this through a broad, balanced and ambitious school curriculum.
As well as being unashamedly academic, Laurus schools focus on developing each pupil’s self-confidence and oracy skills. We inspire our pupils to broaden their horizons and to believe that ‘anything is possible’ because we understand that this is the key to post-education success.
Commitment to safeguarding
