Position Overview:
• Salary: £30,000
• Location: South Devon Coast
• Full-time position
• Live-in accommodation available
The Role: As Assistant Manager of our characterful island pub, you'll be instrumental in creating an unforgettable experience for both locals and visitors. This unique position combines traditional pub management with the adventure of island living.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the General Manager in daily operations
• Lead and develop the front-of-house team
• Maintain exceptional service standards
• Stock management and cellar keeping
• Cash handling and administrative duties
• Event planning and execution
Required Experience & Skills:
• Previous pub/hospitality management experience
• Strong leadership abilities
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of cellar management
• Understanding of H&S and licensing requirements
• Ability to work in a tidal location
