Summary
Quality Assurance of vascular surgical elements of Wales AAA Screening Programme against agreed standards, across Wales, using information and data collected and collated for the purpose Advising on professional vascular surgical standards and policy. Checking and advising on agreed programme standards National guidelines advising on interpretation and implementation Leading on the professional element of the QA process, including reviewing performance issues and/or complaints and actively looking for outliers and bringing quality deficiencies to the attention of the Head of Programme Timely responsiveness to queries/ complaints and giving of specialist advice Recommending corrective action as necessary and verifying the outcome of any action taken Advising and providing feedback to colleagues on ways of improving quality Encouraging the continuous professional development of colleagues Participating in quality audits Engagement, including attendance at meetings to be arranged by Head of Programme Ensuring representation of WAAASP on national QA related committees within the UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) and other relevant UK Groups, e.g. Four Nations Groups You will be able to find a full Job description and Person Specification attached within the supporting documents or please click Apply now to view in Trac.
