Summary
Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to make a real difference? AESSEAL is looking for a dedicated Sustainability Apprentice to join our dynamic team within the Business Assurance Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainability initiatives, helping to reduce environmental impact, improve energy efficiency, and contribute to a greener future.
As a Sustainability Apprentice, you will support the team in ensuring compliance across Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, Environment, Corporate Governance, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). You will also interact with various departments, including Production, Inspection, and Design, contributing to key sustainability efforts across multiple UK sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day departmental administration, including vendor questionnaires, compliance certification, and document management.
Collate data and assist in publishing management reports on Measures of Performance (MoPs) for the business.
Support the continuous improvement approach to enhance operational efficiency.
Assist in incident investigations, audits, and reporting.
Monitor and analyse data related to net zero and carbon accounting.
Administer waste management paperwork and support packaging producer responsibility calculations.
Undertake other reasonable tasks aligned with skills and abilities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
GCSEs: Grade 5 or above in English, Grade 7 in Maths, and Grade 6 or above in Sciences.
A Levels or equivalent qualifications are essential.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong communication skills.
Self-motivated with an analytical mindset.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Personal Qualities:
Passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Working week: 9-5pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: Salary will increase after the first 12 months.
Delivery to be completed on-site and 20% off the job training either at Barnsley College or your place of work. Student to complete a Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner Apprentice Level 4.
