Summary
This school is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a forward-thinking English department. We are looking for someone who can bring literature to life, build literacy skills, and help students find their voice—both on the page and in the wider world. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Maths Teacher:
Teach English Language and Literature across KS3/KS4/KS5
Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that stretch and support all learners
Prepare students for GCSE/A-Level examinations with a focus on high achievement and progress
Contribute to the wider life of the department, including extra-curricular clubs, trips, and events
Participate in curriculum development and whole-school literacy initiatives
Ideal Maths Teacher:
QTS and a degree in English or a closely related subject
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for literature and writing
A reflective practitioner with high expectations of all students
Excellent classroom management and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment as a Maths Teacher.
