Summary

Streetscene services are looking to appoint a suitable officer to support the delivery of front line services by co-ordinating and facilitating the management of staff absence, grievance and disciplinary investigations in specified service areas in line with corporate policy. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to sickness absence monitoring, sickness review meetings, home visits, conducting disciplinary investigations and presentation at formal hearings.
The role will mentor, train and support supervisors, officers and managers to facilitate an ‘enabled manager’ ethos that ensures adherence to process.
The successful candidate will be self motivated and be able to both support and challenge staff with compassion and honesty where needed and maintain accurate correspondence and comprehensive records.
