The Role - Youth Support Worker (Behaviour Mentor)

We are looking for an inspirational Youth Support Worker to join a challenging SEMH School starting ASAP until the end of the academic year. For this Youth Support Worker, you must have at least 1 years' experience working with children with challenging behaviour, this does not necessarily have to be within the classroom setting. To be a successful Youth Support Worker you must be able to think on the spot and act quickly should a challenging situation arise and must be able to build positive rapport with students to ensure successful outcomes. Due to the nature of the students, Physical Intervention Training is highly desired for the position of Youth Support Worker.

This SEMH School is situated in the London Borough of Islington close to its local tube station. This successful SEMH School caters for 78 students between the ages of 11 - 16 with SEMH and ASD. This SEMH School was recently graded as 'Good' in their last Oftsed inspection.
