A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a fantastic engineering business in the Hampshire area.
With no day ever being the same the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class manufacturing environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Full product lifecycle design & development
- Working in a multidisciplinary team on a variety of projects
- Design of mechanical components & integration of systems
- Leading & developing junior team members
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer or similar role
- Experience in designing metallic & composite compoennts
- Understanding of GD&T & DFM
- Use of tools such as FEA, TeamCentre or SimCentre
