We pride ourselves on leading for new, innovative and sustainable products and solutions, both for today and for a new era of building.To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Specification Consultant to come and join our team covering the London area inside of the M25.As our Specification Consultant, you will:Generate high value brick, component and façade system specificationsProactively look for solutions to customer challenges using the internal support teams in a collaborative mannerPlan, research and execute potential specification sales opportunities in order to drive profitable market share growth for the businessResponsible for targeting key architectural practices and projects, across a variety of market segments to generate Ibstock specificationsDrive proactive initiation of customer contact and conversations in order to obtain positive resultsEstablish credibility with customers - building trust through adding value by providing solutions that meets the customer’s needsDevelop strong and sustainable customer relationships with key customers, ensuring that these relationships are managed with a high level of trust and integrityUtilise a proactive data driven approach in order to make commercial decisions, including ensuring adherence to key sales processes and systems (CRM etc.)Develop strong internal relationships across the Ibstock business (eg Production & Technical) in order to create better outcomes for the business and our customersIn order to be successful as our Specification Consultant, we would ideally like you to be/have:Experience of delivering consistently against key sales and commercial targets, supporting the business to grow market share profitablyExperience of working in an environment selling across various sectorsExperience of selling multiple productsExperienced in building strong, long-term relationships with key specifiers in a commercially sustainable wayProven experience in delivering powerful engaging CPD presentations to architects and specifiersExperience serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, RIBA socials and exhibitionsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in architecture, construction or related fieldsFull UK drivers licenseThink you can make a difference?
