Summary
Leading and managing a group of retail associates, giving advice to meet sales goals, and making sure the store is organized, clean, and presentable according to standards are all part of the supervisor's job description. They train employees to provide great customer service and product knowledge, and they enforce corporate policies to ensure smooth operations.
The supervisor also creates and implements merchandising strategies to increase product sales and visibility. They oversee inventory, carry out routine inspections, and place orders for replacements as necessary. They are also responsible for promptly and professionally handling consumer complaints, refunds, and questions.
In order to improve performance and achieve goals, they also examine sales trends and put strategies into action. They create and carry out promotional campaigns and events in conjunction with the store manager.
