Here at Edmonstone Garage - We are an independent, family run business with over 10 years' experience and friendly customer service. Based in Danderhall, our mechanics are fully trained to repair and service all makes and models of vehicle, specialising in alignments.
We're looking for a friendly, proactive, and highly organised Receptionist / Service Advisor to become the welcoming face and key point of contact at our busy, customer-focused workshop in Danderhall. This is more than a front-desk role — you'll be central to creating a positive client experience and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Receptionist / Service Advisor - The Role
Key Responsibilities;
* Booking in customers and jobs (full training provided)
* Handling inbound calls, emails, and walk-ins with professionalism and care
* Preparing estimates and managing customer accounts
* Confirming lead times and updating customers on progress
* Managing internal invoicing queries
* Ordering parts and supporting the workshop team
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a seamless service experience
Receptionist / Service Advisor - What We're Looking For
Key Skills & Experience;
* Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or service advisor role (automotive experience is desirable but not essential)
* Basic understanding of vehicle parts or willingness to learn
* Confident computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisation, multitasking, and time management abilities
* A professional, positive, and customer-first attitude
