Summary
Applicants must demonstrate confidence and competence in the role and an appropriate degree of authority when making decisions and also able to manage conflict. Ability to lead by example demonstrating excellent professional and clinical standards whilst empowering others. Recognises and appropriately manages or escalates serious post-operative complications in a timely manner. Communicates effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies as appropriate. To act as an appropriate and effective visible role model at all times. Level 1/Level 2 Critical Care development training is either already obtained or willing to develop to effective management of patients out of hours. Applicants must have a level of management skills including time management, prioritization and organizational skills and the ambition to develop themselves and others. You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong belief in providing the best patient centred care possible. You will be expected to help maintain high standards of practice and act as a role model to your team.
