Exciting Opportunity for a Vetting Officer

As the Vetting Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's security vetting processes, ensuring the integrity and safety of their operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Vetting Officer Role:

  • Support the Recruitment team in obtaining security clearances and checks for all new employees
  • Manage confidential and complex vetting enquiries, serving as the point of contact for vetting-related issues and problems
  • Liaise with UKSV and other external agencies to facilitate the vetting process
  • Utilise electronic vetting databases and IT platforms to obtain and update security clearances
  • Provide support to the Security Services department and lead on departmental projects

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Experience with HMG BPSS and UKSV vetting processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • A meticulous and professional approach, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in using electronic vetting databases and IT platforms
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with a strong commitment to success
