Summary
Thorn Baker are currently looking for a motivated Concrete Operative to join our clients team in Alfreton on a temp to perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to establish a long-term career in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate concrete machinery and tools to produce and finish concrete products.
• Assist with the pouring, levelling, and finishing of concrete.
• Removing concrete from moulds.
• Ensure all concrete work meets safety and quality standards.
• Work closely with the site team to ensure the smooth operation of concrete-related tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with the set-up, maintenance, and operation of concrete mixing equipment.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a Concrete Operative or in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Good physical fitness
• Strong focus on health and safety practices.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Benefits:
