Summary

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Support Officer to join the Access to Resource team.
The team provides a critical role within the Council for commissioning, monitoring and quality assuring placements for children and young people in the care of Cheshire West and Chester Council.
The Business Support Officer will support the team and will be required to work closely with internal and external partners including social workers, providers of foster care, residential care organisations and colleagues across children’s services, adult services, education and health.
The Business Support Officer will support the team and will be required to work closely with internal and external partners including social workers, providers of foster care, residential care organisations and colleagues across children’s services, adult services, education and health.
You will be required to support Commissioning Officers to ensure that placements deliver value for money on a consistent basis. The Business Support officer makes a significant contribution to the team’s ability to effectively monitoring and quality assure provision. You will also be required to help develop effective systems and processes to ensure that high quality placements are commissioned that offer value for money and improve outcomes for children and young people
