Summary
MadiganGill are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a client based in Bagshot, Surrey for the next 3-6 months starting ASAP.
As a key member of the team the successful applicant will be responsible for the following:-
- Liaising with the client to identify their needs.
- Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour.
- Submitting regular budget reports.
- Preparing tender and contract documents.
- Ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards.
- Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour and helping site to stay within their budgets.
- Ensuring that clients get value for their money.
- Submitting regular budget reports.
- Following building regulations and health and safety.
- Evaluate contracts upon receipt of tender.
Essential Skills and Experience:-
- The successful candidate will need to have proven QS experience at senior level in infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of NEC contracts Options C and E are required.
- Experience of dealing with National Highways.
- Working within CEMAR environment.
Rate:- £400-450 per day dependant upon experience.
