Position: Ice Cream Van Attendant
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal
Pay Rates: £13.21 per hour
To meet the requirements of the role, candidates must be
25 years and over, and hold a valid UK Driving License, due to insurance
purposes for driving the Ice cream van.
Join our One Great Team here at Haven as a Bertie's Ice Cream Van Attendant where you’ll be at the heart of creating memorable moments for our guests, one
scoop at a time. In this role, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to drive
our ice cream van across the park, delivering smiles and sweet treats on the
go!
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and operate the on-park ice cream van, ensuring efficient service and
guest satisfaction.
- Scoop, prepare, and serve delicious ice creams and sundaes, ensuring each
treat is beautifully presented.
- Provide a warm, welcoming experience, assisting guests with flavour choices
and providing helpful answers about menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the counter, service areas, and
uphold high hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service and create a positive,
enjoyable atmosphere for our guests.
Requirements
- A Valid UK Driving License
- Previous experience as an Ice Cream Van Driver is a plus, but not essential.
- Experience in a customer-facing or food service role is beneficial.
- Comfortable driving and operating a vehicle in a busy, guest-focused
environment.
- Strong guest service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
