You will be working in one of our thriving secondary schools located across Bingham, providing essential classroom support while helping to maintain a positive and structured learning environment.

Job Details:
This Cover Supervisor role is flexible and can be full or part-time, starting on a temporary basis with the potential to progress into a permanent position. It is an ideal opportunity for university students seeking part-time work or individuals looking to gain classroom experience with a focus on behaviour support.
We require passionate and dedicated individuals to take on the role of Cover Supervisor, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment while managing classroom behaviour effectively. A good sense of humour, the ability to relate to young people, and strong classroom management skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support students in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring a positive and structured learning environment.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
• Manage classroom dynamics and ensure students remain on task.
• Provide support to students with challenging behaviour, using de-escalation techniques where necessary.
• Foster strong relationships with students to encourage mutual respect and cooperation.
• Uphold the school's policies on behaviour, attendance, and safeguarding.
