Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly staff team at our lovely school. The successful applicant will support the team with the supervision of pupils during the lunchtime break to ensure the safety, general welfare and proper conduct of pupils during this period.
No formal qualifications or previous experience is required but the ability to communicate clearly with the children, establish positive expectations of pupil behaviour and have good relationships with staff and pupils is important. We need a Lunchbreak Supervisor with lots of energy who can supervise and support children while they are eating their lunch, and enhance lunchtime play in the playground with fun games and activities. A good understanding of English is important as the role involves listening to the children read for a short period of time at the end of lunch.Working hours are 11.45am to 1.15pm Monday to Friday term-time only. We are happy to consider applicants who would like to work 2-5 days per week.Visits are welcomed and encouraged, by appointment with the school office. The start date will be 28th April 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter.
