The Business Support Team provides administrative support to a range of front-line services and teams within the Social Services and Wellbeing Directorate across both Adults and Childrens Social Care.
We are looking to recruit a Clerical Support Assistant who will assist in providing clerical support to the ARC building based in Bridgend Town Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team offering a broad range of mental health support across Bridgend County Borough Council. Your duties will involve covering reception, greeting visitors and dealing with telephone enquiries. You will work with the Admin Officer and Team Manager to ensure the smooth running of services within the ARC building and will support colleagues from both Health and Social Care.

This post will be required to work 20 hours a week, split over 5 days (Monday to Friday).
You will need to be a strong team player with excellent ICT skills, an experience of using Microsoft Office products, supported by a good standard of education equivalent to QCF Level 2 Business Administration is essential. You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. An experience of using information and administrative systems would be an advantage. In addition, the role also requires good analytical skills, self-motivation and good multi-tasking skills.
