The Vacancy

TBG Flex is seeking to hire a Senior Support Worker to add to the growing team.

Hester Court is a 75 unit extra care scheme located in the Upper and Lower Fosters Estate in Hendon. The 75 flats and communal areas are all wheelchair accessible, there are 63x 1-bed flats (8 of which are wheelchair adapted) and 12x 2-bed flats.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Service Manager with the setting up of a new service, recruiting staff, ensuring the correct documentation is in place around H&S, medication, finance, IT, service user and staff files, policies & procedures, auditing systems.

To ensure that people who use Your Choice Barnet experience high quality care and support in accordance with their assessed needs.


What you'll need to succeed?

▪ Understanding of current social care legislation, the Care Standards Act 2000 and CQC standards.
▪ Level 3 qualification in Care or equivalent.
▪ Good communication skills
▪ Time/Workload management skills
▪ Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
▪ Good aptitude, common sense, skills and abilities around working with people who have support needs
▪ Competent to carry out all the tasks required by the job description e.g. personal care, manual handing.
