Summary
The Flood Risk Management team are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, an excellent team player, is both technical and practical and has an eye for detail to support the implementation of the Council’s Local Flood Risk Management Strategy
As a Technician in the Flood Risk Management Team you will be working alongside technical experts supporting the team to deliver high performing professional flood risk management and drainage services across the county of Derbyshire.
You will be required to liaise and work with a variety of stakeholders assisting in developing key relationships.
You will have:
- A positive “can do attitude”
- A strong emphasis on customer service and putting our customer’s needs first
- The ability to work collaboratively with others
- Confidence to work under pressure and manage several tasks simultaneously
You will play a key role in:
- Undertaking flooding investigations (involves work on site)
- Delivering the authorities flood risk strategy
- Supporting the team to deliver its statutory duties
- Identifying opportunities and solutions to the service we offer.
