Summary

Nursery Manager – Coventry (CV3)
Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday - Thursday (Full-time, Permanent)
Location: Coventry (Office-based)

Experience: Preferred, but full training will be provided

Link3 is seeking a Nursery Manager to lead our nursery team in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to drive excellence in early years education while fostering a supportive and engaging environment for children and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and mentor staff, cultivating a positive and productive workplace culture.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring child safety and staff compliance with legislation and best practices.
• Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and optimize profitability.
• Oversee a high-quality EYFS curriculum, conducting mock Ofsted inspections for continuous improvement.
• Handle daily operations, staff scheduling, and safety protocols.
• Develop marketing and outreach strategies to increase occupancy.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Ensure smooth operations by covering staff absences when needed.
• Maintain accurate records, cleanliness standards, and funding submissions.
• Build strong relationships with parents and external agencies.
• Organize engaging activities that align with the EYFS framework.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements.
• A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Childcare). A management qualification or degree in Early Years Education is advantageous.
• Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) experience and knowledge of safeguarding policies.
• Strong leadership, delegation, and team-building abilities.
• Excellent organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for delivering high-quality early years education and ensuring the highest standards of safety and care.
