We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Grading Line Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of our new packhouse grading line, with a particular focus on the mechanical operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art robotic grading machine. This role plays a key part in ensuring optimal efficiency, quality control, and productivity in our packhouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision:
- Lead and manage the grading line team to meet production targets and ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training as needed to ensure efficiency and skill development among team members.

Mechanical Operation:
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot the robotic grading machine to ensure continuous and efficient performance.
- Conduct routine maintenance and coordinate with technical support for repairs or upgrades.

Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure all produce meets customer requirements.
- Work closely with the quality control team to identify and address any grading discrepancies.

Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all grading line operations comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness among staff.

Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of production data, downtime, and maintenance activities.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.

Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a supervisory role within a packhouse, manufacturing, or production environment would be beneficial.
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of machinery.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
