Summary
To be aware of the confidential nature of the work and maintain strictest confidence when dealing with patients, staff and other health service business information. To train and supervise the clinical work/assessment of qualified and junior/student staff To fulfil CPD commitments, including identifying personal career development needs, and provide evidence when required in order to achieve the Link grade. Participate in any departmental lead roles. To take part in improving and encouraging good working practices and to investigate efficient and improved ways of working with staff and Lead Consultant Radiologists. To ensure that equipment is appropriately and routinely Quality checked with corrective action instigated, working in conjunction with the clinical lead. To actively assist in any Clinical Governance, Risk Management and Audit programmes as required. To deal with members of the public with courtesy and professionalism. To respect the right to privacy and confidentiality of the patients attending for Ultrasound scans.
