More detail about the role To provide operational leadership, governance and quality improvements for all Audiology staff and ENT/Audiology administrative and clerical staff working at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (RDE), including working closely with Head of Service to insure operational direction will delivery the strategy for audiology across RDUH React with autonomous decision making to respond to the immediate needs of the service. To assist the Head of Service in the delivery of a comprehensive and sophisticated Audiology service for specialist aspects of care to the population of Eastern Devon To provide a key role in the implementation of innovative developmental work for the service and seek new opportunities for the department. To play a key role in overseeing the IQIPS process Lead recruitment and development of Audiology clinical staff and the Administration and Clerical team in Eastern Services to maintain a quality service while working within the financial resources and business plans of the trust. Responsible for the management of the departmental budget.
