We are looking for anIT Infrastructure Managerto join our‘Outstanding’ NHSTrust.


You’llplay a key role in shaping our digital future. Overseeing all infrastructure operations work youwill:

• Managecritical IT services that support patient care&staff operations

• Lead and developamultidisciplinary IT Infrastructureteam, overseeing cloud-based&on-premiseservices, networks, and cybersecurity

• Lead continuous service improvement programmes, working across the IT function to enhance the service enabled by technology

• Work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels to ensureobjectivesare achieved, improve service efficiency&align IT solutions with business objectives


You’llhavestrong leadership skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.You’llthrive in a fast-paced environmentwhereinnovationand excellence in service deliveryarevalued.You’lluse your hands ontechnicalexpertiseand befully involved throughout transition and service delivery.

This is a full-timeposition basedin Reading, withremoteworking optionsavailable. Our service hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5pmwith some flexibility towork other locationsandhours on occasion.


• Managing the delivery ofhighly available,resilientand secure IT services

• Leading and developing a highly skilled multidisciplinary IT Infrastructure Team.

• Developing andestablishingIT infrastructure standards and procedures seeking formal independent external accreditation where possible.

• The analysis, design, deployment, and operations of IT Server-side software, hardware,networkingand cloud computing systems supporting the business.

• Management and ownership of the Trusts WAN, LAN,Firewalls and WirelessAccessPoints,ensuringits security, availability, andoptimalperformance.

• Management and ownership of the organisation's Azure tenant, ensuring its security, availability, andoptimalperformance.

The “must haves” for this role:

• AMastersdegree in a relevant subjectorequivalent experience in IT management (as per the personal specification).

• Experience managing a team and handling mission critical IT services

• In depth knowledge of digital systems and procedures

• Successfultrack recordin delivering large scale complex IT projects and managing change
