Summary
To provide a clinical service in Orthopaedic Surgery, working closely with the Consultants and Clinical Assistants. The post holder will be accountable to the Lead Clinician.
The post-holder will have an on call element to their role.
A broad experience of general Trauma and Orthopaedics, Practical experience in elective and trauma surgery will also be gained. Attendance at elective and fracture clinics, ward rounds and operating theatre lists provides an ideal environment for postgraduate training. Middle Grade and junior staff are regularly involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
Candidates must be eligible for their own GMC registration -MFT cannot support GMC Sponsorship for candidates who are offered permanent vacancies

1. To ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times

1. To be responsible and managerially accountable for the reasonable and effective use of Trust resources that you use an influence and professional accountable to the Medical Director.
1. On Commencement ensure compliance with corporate and medical induction
1. To participate in the Trusts statutory mandatory training programme
1. To be responsible for the clinical management for in patients and outpatients under your care.
