Summary
Information, Advice and Assistance (IAA) Support Workers will work within Children’s Services attached Early Help Hub and Town Centre Hub, responding to enquires about social care and supporting members of the public in accessing the right support at the right time.
The IAA support worker will be expected to provide appropriate information, advice and assistance to service users and carers concerning Council services, health services, welfare benefits and access to other services provided by voluntary organisations and Families First. The IAA support worker will ensure that this support is provided in keeping with departmental and voluntary sector objectives and agreed standards and practice. The IAA worker will be based both in the EHH Civic Centre and the Merthyr Tydfil Town Hub.
