Summary
The ANP job is a temporary contract possibly leading to a permanant contract.
The working pattern will be: Thursday and Friday - 15 hours per week, on occasions and with notice, this may be subject to change.
REPORTS TO: Administratively the Practice Manager / Clinically the GP Partners

Main duties of the job:
Summary of Responsibilities:
• Supporting on the day duties
• Prescribing and advising on medication
• Minor injuries and illnesses
Triage
Prescribing
History Taking
Working autonomously and under pressure
Leadership
• Attend Practice Meetings
• Perform audit of aspects of practice nursing work.
• Refer patients to appropriate disciplines within the Primary Care Team and to outside agencies, with GPs involvement where appropriate.
• Work as a member of a co-ordinated Nurse team and take part in joint projects.
• Attend such training courses as may be required to maintain professional qualifications and expertise
• Have an interest in, and commitment to, continuous professional development
Other
Keep appropriate written and computer records of all patient contacts and all other appropriate aspects of practice nursing work.
Work closely with practice manager to discuss relevant aspects of administration.
