Procurement Specialist – Corporate & Capital Procurement
Salary: £44,800.00 - £53,150.00 per annum
KFM Grade: SSB (Equivalent to NHS Band 6)
The KFM Corporate & Capital Procurement team is looking for a forward-thinking Procurement Specialist to support ongoing
procurement activities. This role involves managing contracts and tendering processes, building strong relationships with
stakeholders, and working closely with the KFM Purchasing Support function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead low to medium-risk procurement activities, including contracts and supplier management.
* Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies for cost savings and operational efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with Trust Standing Financial Instructions (SFIs) and procurement regulations.
* Work closely with clinical and corporate stakeholders to deliver high-quality procurement services.
* Support catalogue changes, cancellations, reviews, and new catalogue requests.
* Identify opportunities for contract renegotiation and supply chain improvement.
Requirements:
* Degree-level qualification or equivalent procurement experience.
* CIPS Level 4 Diploma (or working towards it).
* Experience in procurement strategy, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Knowledge of public sector procurement and NHS supply chain is desirable.
