Summary

The Passenger Transport Team is looking to recruit a Transport Scheduler.
You will contribute to planning a safe, high quality, efficient, value for money Passenger Transport Service for Children's Young People and Family Services and Adult Day Care that supports independence and attendance at school or Day Care Centre/Respite of significant numbers of Special Educational Needs Children, Looked After Children, Pupil Referral Units, Post 16, and adult clients.
You will contribute to ensuring that the Council's Statutory duty of providing free "home to school" transport for eligible children of compulsory school age living in the local authority area is discharged and complaint with national legislation.
You will play a key role in commissioning external contracts, allocating routes to both the internal delivery team and contractors and collates key performance indicators that informs service decision making, service development and allows for the reporting of performance against agreed standards.
