Applications are invited for a Deputy Director of Estates.
The Deputy Director of Estates is responsible to the Director of Estates and Infrastructure for the effective leadership and management of the Estates function.
The post holder is responsible for the management and direction of the multi-disciplinary Estates Department. Providing services across estates operations (including cleaning and janitorial services), property management, space management, maintenance, capital projects and student accommodation. Providing the leadership and management for the integrated Hard and Soft FM services delivery to the entire campus and contributing to the overall management of the Department and the GSA estate both in Glasgow and Forres.
The post holder is a senior leader within the Estates Department and, as such, has a pivotal role to play in the development of the Estates Department; leading and supporting institutional initiatives including the Estates Strategy, supporting all team members to be their best and ensuring a holistic and collaborative approach to the management of the department, as well as deputising for the Director of Estates and Infrastructure where appropriate.
