We are now looking for a Deputy Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing operations, maintaining service excellence, and leading our team to success.
Job Description:
As a Deputy Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. You will assist in managing front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring high service standards, and coordinating with the kitchen to provide an exceptional dining experience. Your leadership, problem-solving skills, and dedication to customer satisfaction will play a key role in the overall success of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all restaurant operations and ensuring smooth service.
Manage and train front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service and teamwork.
Supervise daily operations, ensuring efficiency in food preparation, table service, and overall guest satisfaction.
Oversee catering services and special events, ensuring customer expectations are met.
Maintain high standards in food quality, beverage service, hygiene, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally to enhance the dining experience.
Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in financial and operational planning, including budgeting, cost control, and sales performance analysis.
Ensure restaurant cleanliness and maintenance, keeping dining and service areas in top condition.
Take leadership in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, ensuring consistent service standards and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a busy restaurant setting.
Fluent in both Mandarin and English (multilingual skills required).
Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
Passion for Sichuan cuisine and hotpot culture is highly desirable.
Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, food hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
