Summary

About the role

This role is responsible for working with Direct Customer Communications Managers and cross functional teams serving a specific customer group (and outcome for that group). This role will be responsible for executing Cross functional teams plans into Direct to Customer Communications that are engaging, relevant and help our customers as well as that communicate the key facets and benefits that the Cross functional team believe is appropriate for the given group of customers.

You will be responsible for

  • Delivery of Email Direct Mail and Mobile planning across Campaigns, GHS, CRM including Clubcard statement, Tesco Group and Group comms.
  • Supporting the technology road map which includes leading on key personalisation initiatives in collaboration with technology.
  • Working with DCC Managers and the personalisation team to facilitate the orchestration of relevant, high performing customer journeys.
  • Supporting test & learn to optimise performance of cross channel comms (Email, Direct Mail and Mobile) ongoing and unlocking new opportunities
  • Writing technically excellent email briefs and manage the creative process production/build through to QA
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to create, build and deploy email campaigns as required.
  • Defining and scoping audience targeting and reporting.
  • Contributing to channel expertise to offer insight and direction to comms planning and other stakeholders
  • Working to improve Email performance and effectiveness, including reporting and attribution.

You will need

  • Experience onboarding new email technology
  • Planning and project management
  • Experience of end to end briefing,
  • development (build), deployment, analysis and reporting of email campaigns
  • Ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders of all levels
  • Experience of ESP\'s, campaign and personalisation platforms
  • HTML email coding
