About the role
The faculty of Creative and Digital are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Hairdressing Programme Leader to join the well-established hair and beauty team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with other Programme Leaders and the Head of Faculty to provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment.
Other duties will include:
Developing an innovative curriculum linked to industry
Teaching, learning and assessment inline with awarding body and TEC partnership standards
Maintaining records
Analysing data and producing reports using a range of systems
Meeting with parents and attending other college events
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, occupational competence in the Hairdressing industry, and relevant industry qualifications.
Candidates should also have:
Level 3 Hairdressing (or equivalent)
Prior experience working in a teaching position
Experience of analysing data and writing reports
Teaching qualification (or willing to work towards)
