We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join the Scarborough TEC in the role of Programme Leader Art & Design. If you are a team player who is passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you!
About the role
The faculty of Creative and Digital are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Programme Leader to join the well-established art and design team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with other Programme Leaders and the Head of Faculty to provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment. The role is based at our Scarborough TEC campus.
Other duties will include:
Developing an innovative curriculum linked to industry
Teaching, learning and assessment in line with awarding body and TEC partnership standards
Maintaining records
Analysing data and producing reports using a range of systems
Meeting with parents and attending other college events
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, occupational competence in the art and design industry, and relevant industry qualifications.
Candidates should also have:
Level 2/GCSE Maths and English
Level 3 Art and design (or equivalent)
Prior experience working in a teaching position
Experience of analysing data and writing reports
Teaching qualification (or willing to work towards)
