Summary
**DAY SHIFT!! FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY AT A GROWING COMPANY** Our client based in Worcester who are a global engineering firm using cutting edge techniques, are looking for a CNC LATHE OPERATOR / CNC MILLER to join their team on a permanent basis at their state of the art site.
As a machine shop technician, you will be responsible for machining a wide range of components for the gas turbine and aerospace industry. This will include Milling/Turning using both CNC and manual machine tools.
****Previous experienced desirable****
Duties and responsibilities will include: Be competent in operating a CNC mill and lathe Experience in using controllers Benefits: State of the art site modern site Training and Career progression Growing industry Free parking and large canteen area Close to Worcester town Temp to Perm role Shift: Monday to Friday 0700 - 1500 Pay: £14.00 - £17.44 per hour (based upon experience) Overtime Monday to Friday after 37.5 hours - Time and a half Saturday after 37.5 hours - Time and a half Sunday after 37.5 hours and Bank Holiday - Double time Benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Ltd include: 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Online payslips, Weekly pay and Pension contribution On-going assignments
