Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a full-time housekeeper in West Stourmouth, Kent. This role is based in a welcoming household of four, where maintaining a well-kept and organised home is essential. The family leads a balanced and steady-paced lifestyle, and while the days will be busy, the housekeeper will have a structured workload. They are looking for an experienced and reliable professional who takes pride in their work and can ensure the home is kept in excellent condition.
West Stourmouth is a picturesque village in Kent, known for its beautiful countryside and peaceful atmosphere. While the position is live-out, candidates should note that the location requires reliable transport, making a driving licence a good bonus but not a requirement. The client is happy to reimburse interview travel costs and is open to covering relocation expenses for the right candidate.
The successful housekeeper will be responsible for a full range of housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, hoovering, and laundry. Experience in handling specialist materials such as antiques, marble, granite, and wood is a must. Additionally, occasional pet care for the family’s four well-behaved dogs—two Great Danes and two Dachshunds—will be required. The ideal candidate will be hardworking and adaptable, ensuring that the home remains well-maintained while working efficiently within a supportive and easy-going household.
The family is open to hiring on either a self-employed basis or a full employment contract, depending on the candidate’s preference and circumstances.

Handling laundry and ironing to a high standard

Requirements for this Full-Time Housekeeper job:
3+ years of relevant private housekeeping experience
Excellent checkable references
Conversational English
