Summary

Are you a proactive researcher able to identify risks and potential threat?

We have an exciting opportunity for an Intelligence Development Officer to join our Specialist Crime Intelligence team on a full-time permanent basis, working 37 hours per week on a shift rota.

Intelligence Development Officers are enablers for all investigations and play a critical role in formulating a risk based approach to tackling criminality and protecting the vulnerable.

What you’ll be doing

Identify, collate, research, develop and disseminate intelligence across Derbyshire Constabulary.
Play a critical role in formulating a risk based approach to tackling criminality and protecting the vulnerable.
The must haves

Experience of accurately checking, recording and retrieving information from databases, and of making links between different data sets; with the ability to identify relevant and salient detail.
Previous practical experience in researching and developing information to aid decision making.
