Summary
2-8 hours a week, day and Time TBC – with potential for additional hours.
ABC family is looking for a part-time nanny to assist with care for a child with cerebral palsy. The ideal candidate will be warm and caring, focused, alert, with outstanding hygiene standards and some experience.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Personal care, including manual handling and changing
Using a hoist (training can be provided)
PEG feeding (training can be provided)
Gentle play and exercise
The ideal candidate would be someone with a background in/studying medicine, education or physiotherapy. However, a keen enthusiasm to learn and assist with care for a child with complex medical needs would be fantastic too!
