Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of the Data Protection Act
Knowledge of Freedom of Information Act
Experience within a training function
Experience of producing learning materials incorporating a variety of learning methodologies.
Good project management skills with the ability to plan ahead, assess priorities and manage workloads and resources
Must be proficient in the use of Adobe Captivate and have experience using Adobe Photoshop.
Must have an aptitude for using unfamiliar e-learning software such as voice synthesis software.



Desirable:

Experience of assisting learning delivery staff in integrating the quality assurance processes within learning programs.
Experience of assisting in the completion of learning evaluations across the organisation
Worked as a trained/qualified instructor, developed/conducted a range of training courses for various levels of staff.



What's involved with this role: Your role is to develop learning solutions using new technologies providing the Force and external customers with high quality learning and development services.

Key responsibilities:

Maintain contact with the Branch’s customers and users to ensure continuous improvement in relation to cost, quality, productivity and service delivery.
Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers meeting requirements through analysis, planning, design and review of blended learning solutions.
Develop innovative solutions to achieve new ways of developing and delivering learning. To be responsible for effective communication of technology assisted learning.
Monitor and continually improve the efficiency of training delivery, taking into account the effective deployment of trainers, support functions and efficient administration.
Responsible for validating and evaluating the effective use of technology assisted learning to ensure continued efficiency and effectiveness of the service in meeting identified needs of the customer.
Ensure the branch maintains the technology and resources required at the correct specification and standard.
Support the sub-domain of the nCalt eLearning system by maintaining comprehensive systems documentation and records. To include: bulk registration, maintenance procedures and data quality checking.
