You will be passionate about growing our leaders of the future. You will have the ability to build relationships quickly and engaging our key stakeholders will be key to success, alongside an ability to deliver at pace and manage multiple priorities and deadlines. There may be a line management responsibility attached to this role.
You will support DWP and the Future of Talent Strategy through:
- the delivery of DWP and Cabinet Office (CO) talent schemes, supporting the design and running of selection processes, including communications, sifting and interview panel organisation, managing candidate queries, and stakeholder engagement (both within DWP and cross-government)
- day-to-day management of talent programmes, from scoping content through to delivery, ensuring milestones are reached and work is delivered to a high standard - project management experience would be useful
- development and delivery of presentations to a wide range of stakeholders and participants at Talent or departmental events on behalf of the team - providing regular feedback to support continuous improvement on work outputs
- responding to queries from our current on-scheme candidates ensuring a positive participant experience for DWP colleagues on both DWP and CO schemes
- developing, understanding and utilising data from spreadsheets- being data driven through plans, to report and evaluate schemes to ensure progress against key milestones, drive continuous improvement activity and manage identified risks
- supporting production of talent dashboards, MI packs, presentations and briefings to senior boards as the team continues building on its great reputation
- delivering Centre of Expertise internal/external communications, engagement and continuous improvement activity by implementing a communication and engagement strategy and plan aligned to future talent requirements
- deliver Talent forecasts and scheme budgets, working across teams and with our finance partners identifying any financial actions required
- gathering information relating to internal and external best practice and work with other functions and professions to support the future of talent activity
The successful candidate must have achieved CIPD Associate membership or be willing to work towards this upon commencement of their role.
