Summary
My client is based firmly between Sunderland and Newcastle and are looking to appoint a commercial paralegal in a critical business role.
Although a paralegal role, candidates must be able to demonstrate previous hands-on experience in drafting, reviewing and amending commercial contracts and so this is not a position that is open to entry-level candidates.
The ideal candidate would be someone who not only possesses the practical skills with commercial contracts previously mentioned, but also someone who has the confidence and skill to highlight any issues/red flags within contracts to assist my client's business in ensuring compliance with obligations when it comes to GDPR, data protection and other relevant regulations. Applications should only be made therefore if you feel you have a high level of confidence and ability in the commercial contracts sector.
My client is encouraging of hybrid/flexible working and will welcome applications from candidates who are used to all types of working arrangements as far as hybrid working is concerned. This role is a full-time position that will require 37.5 hours per week.
