Summary

Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with the CMSP Senior Management Team to enable sharing and debate of complex data and process adoption. Develop and maintain strong professional client relationships, sometimes in difficult and challenging circumstances with the ability to assess situations effectively and react appropriately, making informed decisions based on the information available. Receive and convey complex, sensitive and contentious information, where persuasive, motivational, negotiating, training, empathic or re- assurance skills are required. Autonomously present complex, sensitive or contentious information and data with transparency and confidence to internal and external stakeholders. Work with the wider CMSPs teams to develop an understanding of Facilities and Office Solutions agenda of activities and use the knowledge to drive performance improvements. Influence, persuade and engage with both client and CMSP colleagues to draw out the best outcomes for high quality governance improvements. Provide a strong and effective business management support to the CMSP Director and the Head of Governance and Performance, working cohesively with both to drive business performance advancements. Interpret, and analysis of complex data to make judgements in relation to performance targets, business objectives, SRM strategy and KPIs. Advise on recommendations from NOECPC data analysis, working in conjunction with the Senior Management Team to debate and agree on an accurate assessment and any subsequent course of actions. Work with CMSP colleagues to clarify assumptions and work through data anomalies. Assess impact of anomalies and present recommendations. Work alongside NHS Supply Chain data analysts and performance and risk teams to ensure a shared and accurate understanding of data content, interdependencies and reporting objectives and outcomes. Responsible for delivering options papers to internal and external stakeholders to present service comparisons, choices and opportunities available based on a clear understanding of data and all intelligence available. Can demonstrate strong risk management problem solving skills, identifying potential business risks, analyse their impact, to implement effective solutions mitigation of risks and remedy issues. Strong knowledge of Supplier Relationship principles, including supplier segmentation, performance management and strategic partnership development. Plan for short, medium and long-term milestones in conjunction with Head of Governance and Performance and feed in via the CMSP Cyclical Meetings. Absorb and apply the yearly CMSP Business Plan to governance activity and understand the SCCL planning and reporting cycle to enable timely and valuable contributions. Work collaboratively to initiate, support and implement change for governance and performance improvements. Support the Head of Governance and Performance in the management of the formal SRM program, including planning, coordinating activities to ensure timely affective supplier relationship management. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the availability of resources, personnel and information needed to perform contractual audits on time in line with the NHS Supply Chain contract schedule. Requires highly developed experience of analysing highly complex data/facts/information from several components to support the progression of governance developments and drive contract efficiencies. Proficient in Microsoft excel, with advanced skills in data manipulation, analysis, dashboards, validation and reporting metrics to support business operations and decision making.
