What Does the Role Involve?

Alcedo Care is seeking empathetic and dedicated Children and Young People Support Workers to provide exceptional care through short visits, typically lasting a couple of hours per session. You will play a vital role in supporting children and young people, ensuring they live fulfilling lives both at home and within the community. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting clients with activities such as trampolining, swimming, socialising, and visiting local parks.
  
• Helping with clients’ morning and/or bedtime routines.
  
• Providing personalised care, including support for:
  • Autism and ADHD
    
  • Learning disabilities
    
  • Challenging behaviour
    
  • Complex care needs

      Who Can Apply?
      • Must be 18 or over
        
      • Minimum six months’ experience in care
        
      • Experience working with children is essential
        
      • Reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy
        
      • Right to work in the UK
        
      • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred
